Radiohead: Stupid serious

Tell me silly serious, old-fashioned or bitter, but after the release of "The King of Limbs", the latest album from Radiohead , I lost respect for various online music media used to read.

was just released album, editors around the world rushed to hear the record to discuss it before the rest. And I wonder why. Why worry about being the first to tell the joke, if what matters is who tells it better ?

Millions of people listen to "The King of Limbs "almost at the same time last Friday (Friday, 18 February), all with the same excitement and interest, surprised by the sudden announcement of his edition and almost in shock when the opening came forward a day. Tell me

serious fool, but I have digested the disc as possible, after having reviewed hours and hours without stopping (Radiohead is my favorite band), and yet I was not able to even read a review of this album with remnants of social event.

The problem is that, in less than 24 hours there were dozens, hundreds. And they breed as Gremlins. Now, less than a week of digital release, it is impossible to keep track.

Detractors and defenders. Rivals most, few lukewarm opinions. Almost as a matter of life or death, professional critics, semiprofessional and amateur Internet looking for their own verdict, rambling thoughts out loud, without ever reaching port.

succumbed to the pressure of rising voices on Twitter and Facebook, that people who never saw before talking about a 2.0 band music lovers or those who believe that musical knowledge is a competition. Nobody could remain silent. "Only a few months pa 'learn to speak, a lifetime pa 'learn to shut up " says a song that I like .

I think all of them, basically, "The King of Limbs" I do not care. The music gives them the same. The songs give them the same. Radiohead they dont. All they want is to have a few more hits on their pages to get advertisers. The only thing that matters is apparently smarter than the commentator who is next.

grave Tell me silly, but for me this image released by British musicians, and saying "Thank You For Waiting" - has a double Reading applicable to this absurd situation. Okay, we live in a culture where instant gratification and sends the immediacy is hailed as a god. Not much to do about it. My claim is that the trouble should not beat the mission of creating value around music. So be grateful patient.

A record needs to breathe, you need a little perspective delivered daily. There must be a genius to know. In addition, one of the most charming features is that their songs Radiohead grow over time, an idea repeated over and over again and, thankfully, is based on one fact: the band can be many things, but gimmicky. At least, never to the point of obviousness standard.

"The King of Limbs" was born just a few days ago. You have to learn to walk, run and fly. It takes years, only a timely manner and reviews that are not superficial, if not made sharp thinking what to say next sentence or how many retwitteos or "Like" get . That does not matter. Lords

commentators, detached from the computer screen and give maximum attention to the headset goes out of style yet. Realizing the details, let the subjects resting and give affection a group is still possible. I say this because I am a fan, but also because it is a fact that Radiohead has millions of followers and all those people are worth the effort to address best the work of the quintet.

No matter what they write later in his review "The King of Limbs", whether praise or blame, if indeed leave them for later. Is not the time yet. Understand.

insist that the attitude of the fan is always better than those who take a job in the music press as a craft or hobby either. you retire from the trades and pastimes you get bored. Fanaticism you die.

fool Tell me serious. Go ahead. We are confident.
